Spanish online gambling laws stand shortly before the entry into force

These days seems it in Europe nearly the trend to have become to adopt new online gambling laws. Thus also Spain discusses for months already over new laws, which more up-to-date one wants to arrange, by trying the gambling activity in the country to legalize and liberalize. In the year 1977 the gambling activity in the southEuropean country was abolished and made since then no changes of the law.

Perhaps Spanish the politicians have themselves therefore to it decided after it a parliamentary bill had compiled to catch up opinions of industrial experts and gambling offerers. While that seemed to be a very good thought, in order to guarantee the fact that the law is arranged fair and for the advantage of all involved ones led this however to the fact that the legislation process pulled itself enormously into the length, since up to 250 change proposals were received, which were examined.

After the Spanish intervened Loterías y Apuestas del Estado recently to come in order to accelerate the process, the things seem now into rolling. The senate had built some change proposals into the law and had submitted this again to the Spanish congress, that gave its OK ONE. Two further steps are missing now still, before the law knows finally the entry into force. On the one hand the parliamentary bill requires still the agreement of the European Union, with which still in this month one counts. On the other hand, still three further statutory orders must be examined, be contained the conditions and regulations for the assignment of licenses.

After a lengthy process now nothing more seems to stand to the legalization and liberalisation of the Spanish of online gambling market in the way. On the introduction of the new online gambling law to Spain can be counted perhaps even still up to the end this month.
